Did You Ever Wonder What The Difference Between Brown, White and Blue Eggs Is?

by Eugenia M. Jarrett

Brown Eggs vs White Eggs vs Blue Eggs

The other day I needed to borrow a few eggs and my friend gave me a dozen of brown and white eggs mixed. She mentioned that the brown eggs were healthier and she was very happy to give them to me. I was very appreciative of the eggs, however, I disagreed about the nutritional value of the brown eggs being healthier. Somewhere in the back of my brain, I was sure that I had researched this in the past and that was my takeaway.

She was so adamant that she was right that I needed to research this again - and here is what I found out.

Comfrey Helps Your Garden Grow

Use comfrey to quickly grow plants for backyard gardening
By Kim Evans

As the food supply becomes more and more poisoned, a lot of people are moving toward growing their own food in backyard gardens. And if there's one thing every backyard gardener should know about - it's comfrey. Comfrey is an herb that makes things grow - and using it in the garden can easily and dramatically increase the size, heartiness, and productivity of your plants.

The key constituent in comfrey is allantoin which encourages the growth of cells in both plants and humans. It's long been used in the natural health world to quickly regrow bones and even heal problems like torn ligaments. And in the garden, using some comfrey can boost the size of many plants and encourage lackluster plants to grow...

How Gluten and Candida cause leaky gut

Do You Have a 'Leaky Gut'?
by Michael Edwards

(NaturalNews) For many, gluten is difficult or impossible to properly digest. It takes an abundance of healthy bacteria to properly digest gluten. One of the many reasons our ancestors had less of a problem with digesting gluten than we do is that they used to use a probiotic culture that pre-digested the gluten proteins before they baked the bread. In addition, sugar consumption has been on the rise for decades, and there is a direct correlation with our increased sugar consumption and pretty much everything that's wrong with our bodies. This increased sugar consumption feeds and increases Candida, disrupting the natural, beneficial flora in the gut.

When the gut is not healthy (flora is not balanced), gluten proteins harm the intestinal tract, causing irritation and inflammation. For those with the genetic predisposition to celiac disease, eating gluten, even with a healthy intestinal tract, causes some damage to the intestinal

GM Salmon Threaten Already-Declining Fish Populations

GM salmon threaten already-declining fish populations

by David Gutierrez, Natural News staff writer

(NaturalNews) The commercialization of genetically modified (GM) salmon could push wild salmon species over the brink of extinction, warns marine ecologist Gerry Goeden in an article published on Independent Science News.

Goeden is a research fellow and advisor to the National University of Malaysia and marine consultant to the Andaman Resort, Langkawi.

Although the FDA has not yet ruled on whether it will approve GM salmon for human consumption, U.S. company AquaBounty has already begun scaling up production of eggs for the GM fish in anticipation of a favorable ruling. If the GM salmon are commercialized, Goeden warns...

Magnesium Slashes Risk of Sudden Cardiac Death and Naturally Lowers Blood Sugar

Magnesium Slashes Risk of Sudden Cardiac Death and Naturally Lowers Blood Sugar
by John Phillip

Magnesium is one of the most common elemental minerals in the human body, yet experts believe that more than 90% of adults are deficient, placing them at extreme risk of sudden death from a heart attack and of developing diabetes. Hundreds of biochemical functions that drive energy metabolism and DNA repair are fueled by magnesium. We rely on eating vegetables and other natural foods grown in magnesium rich soils as our source of this vital mineral. Most people don`t eat enough fresh vegetables to supply adequate magnesium while poor farming practices have depleted the mineral from most commercially grown crops. You can ensure that you receive magnesium though diet and supplementation to stave off heart disease and metabolic dysfunction.
