Your individuality is YOU...nurture it, grow it with confidence and knowledge that you are unique - in a wonderful way.
What do you feel draws you to like someone? Is it because they are like everyone else, or because they are unique - real - different?
Often it is difficult to have the confidence that your being "different" is a good thing. Sometimes you feel as if you are "weird", "not acceptable", "too different", "black sheep", "inferior", "not smart enough", etc...
Do you think you are the only one who feels those pangs of pain? Those insecurities?
When you take those insecurities and decide they are not going to be a part of your life and tackle them one at a time...you will be amazed how your inner self has the knowledge and strength to overcome and use those insecurities as stepping stones to building the individuality and personality of who you truly are and want to be.
It's not easy - but it certainly is worth it.
Have you ever taken a leap of faith against a specific fear or insecurity? Have you ever dove into a pool, even though you thought you were going to faint? Or stood up and had to give a speech? Or even something as simple as walking on stage to get a certificate?
Remember the anxiety of the accomplishment?
That moment helped build your foundation, a small step toward eliminating that specific fear...and slowly other fears...and it gave you a wonderful feeling of "I DID IT!", even though, again, you thought you would never survive it.
Remember those moments when faced with choices of activating your individual personality, wants, and happiness. Those will all build YOU, the different YOU, the YOU that will be fulfilled and content.
