Down the rabbit hole, (found in a farmer's field) we go - to find an ancient mystery cave known as the Caynton Caves, near Beckbury, Shropshire, England. These caves are extensive manmade hallways with hand carved archways and pillars out of sandstone.
Apparently, these caves are dating back to at least the 17th or early 18th century. They are remarkably preserved and some have said to believe they were used for ancient 'black magic' and possibly associated with the Knights Templar, others speculate the Knights Templar were dissolved prior to the building of these caves. Research is still being done.
Michael Scott, a photographer that went to explore the caves said: "I traipsed over a field to find it, but if you didn't know it was there you would just walk right past it. Considering how long it's been there it's in amazing condition, it's like an underground temple."
