Comfrey Helps Your Garden Grow

Use comfrey to quickly grow plants for backyard gardening
By Kim Evans

As the food supply becomes more and more poisoned, a lot of people are moving toward growing their own food in backyard gardens. And if there's one thing every backyard gardener should know about - it's comfrey. Comfrey is an herb that makes things grow - and using it in the garden can easily and dramatically increase the size, heartiness, and productivity of your plants.

The key constituent in comfrey is allantoin which encourages the growth of cells in both plants and humans. Chlorophyll: A powerful blood builder and chelating agent

by Michael Ravensthorpe

Chlorophyll for blood building health and vitality
Chlorophyll is the green pigment in plants responsible for absorbing the light necessary for photosynthesis. It is often considered to be the "blood" of plants, since it comprises the basic physiology of the plant and is required for their basic metabolic functions, such as growth and respiration. While most land plants contain chlorophyll to some degree, those with the deepest green colors contain the greatest concentrations of it.

Do You Know What the "Non-GMO Project" Label Means?

There have been many questions and inconsistencies in the understanding of the "Non-GMO Project" We need to be 'AWARE' and be 'IN THE KNOW' of labeling and exclusions.

The “Non-GMO Project” label only verifies that a product doesn’t contain genetically modified (GMO) ingredients (or technically less than 0.9% GMOs). While that is good, it’s not the whole story about what the product contains, how it was produced, and where it came from.
View the Chart below to compare 'Organic or Certified Organic' vs 'Non GMO'.

Edgar Cayce: Overview & Therapy of Cirrhosis of the Liver

Edgar Cayce Therapy of Cirrhosis of the Liver
OVERVIEW: THERAPY OF CIRRHOSIS OF THE LIVER

When chronic diseases cause the liver to become permanently injured and scarred, the condition is called cirrhosis.  The scar tissue that forms in cirrhosis harms the structure of the liver, blocking the flow of blood through the organ. The loss of normal liver tissue slows the processing of nutrients, hormones, drugs, and toxins by the liver. Also slowed is the production of proteins and other substances made by the liver.

Doreen Virtue: Exploring Realms of Reality

Doreen Virtue

Doreen Virtue joins Barnet and Freeman for a remarkable conversation on Cutting Edge Consciousness about what is real. It seems the “more real” can be found via an expansive mindset that draws on intuition and other “uncommon senses”. There are more realms of reality than we can currently perceive using conventional science.

But science is starting to change – with more and more scientists following mystics and finding empirical data to support an expanded realm of possibility. The small circle of reality that encompasses only what has been collectively agreed upon and perceived by deductive reasoning, in the past, is too limiting for the challenges of our time. Doreen visits Barnet and Freeman and expands the conversation to include a much larger circle of possibility.

How Gluten and Candida cause leaky gut

Do You Have a 'Leaky Gut'?
by Michael Edwards

(NaturalNews) For many, gluten is difficult or impossible to properly digest. It takes an abundance of healthy bacteria to properly digest gluten. One of the many reasons our ancestors had less of a problem with digesting gluten than we do is that they used to use a probiotic culture that pre-digested the gluten proteins before they baked the bread. In addition, sugar consumption has been on the rise for decades, and there is a direct correlation with our increased sugar consumption and pretty much everything that's wrong with our bodies. This increased sugar consumption feeds and increases Candida, disrupting the natural, beneficial flora in the gut.

When the gut is not healthy (flora is not balanced), gluten proteins harm the intestinal tract, causing irritation and inflammation. For those with the genetic predisposition to celiac disease, eating gluten, even with a healthy intestinal tract, causes some damage to the intestinal

Three healthy, lactose-free substitutes to animal milk

Lactose Free milk substitutes

by Michael Ravensthorpe

(NaturalNews) According to an article published on the Genetics Home Reference website, an estimated 65 percent of the world's population has difficulty digesting lactose, a sugar found in animal milk, after infancy. While people of East Asian descent are the most likely to suffer from lactose intolerance, it also affects large populations of the United States and Europe. Shortly after consuming animal milk, these individuals often suffer from a host of unpleasant symptoms ranging from abdominal pain and bloating to nausea and diarrhea.

Fortunately, health food stores are starting to sell a growing number of plant-based milks that are free of lactose and the health issues associated with consuming animal milk. This article takes a closer look at the best of these plant-based milks, listing both their advantages and disadvantages so that you can decide which one is best for your needs.
